parish Clergy

Father Alan M. Guanella, JCL, AJV — Pastor — Email: [email protected]
The pastor is the proper pastor of the parish entrusted to him, exercising the pastoral care of the community committed to him under the authority of the diocesan bishop in whose ministry of Christ he has been called to share, so that for that same community he carries out the functions of teaching, sanctifying, and governing, also with the cooperation of other presbyters or deacons and with the assistance of lay members of the Christian faithful, according to the norm of law.

Father Steven Weller — Parochial Vicar — Email: [email protected]
As a co-worker with the pastor and a sharer in his solicitude, a parochial vicar is to offer service in the pastoral ministry by common counsel and effort with the pastor and under his authority. A parochial vicar is to report to the pastor regularly concerning proposed and existing pastoral endeavors in such a way that the pastor and the vicar, through common efforts, are able to provide for the pastoral care of the parish for which they are together responsible.

Deacon Thomas C. Anderson — Permanent Deacon — Email: [email protected]
Deacons who have parochial administrative training and experience may be entrusted, under a canonically appointed pastor, to assist in the pastoral care of a parish. Deacons exercise their ministry in communion not only with their bishop but also with the priests who serve the diocesan Church. As collaborators in ministry, priests and deacons are two complementary but subordinate participants in the one apostolic ministry bestowed by Christ upon the apostles and their successors.
