BACK TO SCHOOL MESSAGE

It is with delight, my brothers and sisters, that I welcome you back to a new year of school. It’s an opportunity to explore and expand your mind. It is my joy to not only come and support the mission of the Church, which is in part educating our young, but it is an opportunity for me to tell you that it is our identity in Christ that we come together to explore. It is our identity as disciples of Christ that we as teachers and students press into. We’re a people of hope and as we study and learn, as we grow and develop, we grow and develop as disciples of Jesus Christ. To our teachers, we salute you and thank you for your sacrifice. We ask you, dear students, to thank the teachers yourselves for their part in helping you become an educated Christian, a disciple of Christ, and an ambassador of hope. God bless you.
